This week it's all about us!

In A1 photography this week, we are feelings inspired by ourselves!
This weeks theme is us.
We've carried on the theme of portraiture using scanography and selfies-we have had plenty of fun and laughter making these.
Selfies in the sun.
And sunography too
Some amazing work produced so far, great imaginative work.
Keep it up!
More further examples of great work to follow.

Some excellent A2 photography sketchbooks.

A2 photography hand in a huge variation of project themes this week.
Including folkelaws and fables, geometric landscape, fashion, mental health and colour to mention a few.

Excellent geometric landscape manuals from Freya.

Michiah showing some fantastic studio shots and great examples of presentation and photographer analysis from Jess.
Great start to the A2 year.

Another great day in the studio.

After their recent studio induction, A1 ASFC students had fun taking more studio shots.
E group photography posing for the camera #funtimes
Next lesson we will be editing on Photoshop. Who knew photography could be this much fun?

First A1 studio photo shoot.

Some great photographs taken in the studio this week by A1, based on Richard Avedon.
It is fab seeing your new studio skills in practice.
I am looking forward to seeing the final edits mounted and evaluated in sketchbooks next week. Keep up the fantastic photography!

Foundation installation sculpture.

The art foundation have finished their first unit 1 final piece, you need to catch it before it comes down next week.
It's made from found objects and would be great to photograph before it's taken down. Check it out in A2.2 upstairs in the art block.

Any of you interested in learning more about the Art and Design Foundation @ASFC speak to Susanna Smith, head of Foundation.
